JOB TITLE - Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified and experienced HLTA to join a thriving Primary School in South Bristol.
The school prides itself on its supportive staff team, positive learning environment, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
Depending on performance, there may be opportunities to extend the contract or secure a permanent role.

CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS

Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Full-Time:
Monday to Friday
Day Rate: £100 - £130 per day

Hours:

8:20am - 3:30pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS (MANDATORY)

HLTA qualification (required)
Proven experience working as an HLTA within a UK school
Experience leading small groups and covering whole-class teaching when required
Strong understanding of the national curriculum
Up-to-date safeguarding training (within the last 12 months)
Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional references covering the last two years, including a school-based reference
