We’re working with a warm and welcoming primary academy looking for a full-time EYFS Teacher to join their team.
This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a nurturing, ambitious early years setting where children are encouraged to explore, play and grow in confidence from day one. You’ll be trusted to create a stimulating, play‑based environment where communication, language, early maths and personal development are woven naturally into daily learning. The focus is simple, give every child the strongest possible start.
What you’ll be doingLeading a Reception class with warmth, energy and high expectations
Delivering a rich EYFS curriculum rooted in exploration and active learning
Observing and assessing children thoughtfully, responding to individual needs
Supporting all pupils, including those eligible for pupil premium, looked after children, pupils with SEND and high attainers
Building strong, secure relationships with families and colleagues
Contributing to the wider life of the school, including outdoor learning and enrichment
Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised qualification
A genuine passion for early childhood development
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and effective assessment
A nurturing approach that helps children feel safe, valued and ready to try
Confidence working collaboratively with parents, colleagues and external professionals
A reflective practitioner who is keen to grow and support others
Consistent impact aligned with the Teachers’ Standards

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
