Actual Annual Salary: £13,166 – £14,840 (M1-M3) part time, 0.4 FTE

Full Time Equivalent Salary: £32,916 – £37,101 (M1-M3)

Part‑time, 13 hours per week (0.4 FTE)

Working Pattern

Monday and Tuesday; we would consider different working days/split days for a suitable candidate.

Provisional Start Date

1 June 2026 or sooner if possible

About You

We are looking for a committed individual who wants to make an active contribution to the development of Frome Vale Academy. You will be used to planning and consistently delivering high quality lessons, will have experience in delivering all areas of the curriculum with the ability to embrace change and motivate colleagues and students. We look for professionals who have excellent class management skills and have high expectations of work and behaviour.

Your Profile
  • A qualified teacher or hold an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • able to deliver the curriculum in your chosen area and consistently teach high quality lessons across relevant key stages.
  • able to meet the needs of learners from key identified groups, including pupil premium, looked after children, SEND and High Attaining students.
  • a strong communicator with the ability to embrace change, motivate colleagues and build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
  • able to recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience & learning.
  • empowered to develop your own expert practice and support the development of others.
  • highly competent in all elements of the Teachers Standards and your achievements and contribution will be substantial and sustained as an Upper Pay Scale teacher.
About Frome Vale Academy

We are a single form entry school, with a maximum of 30 children per year group with an outstanding Ofsted rating. The school is set within beautiful grounds of approximately 9 acres, which are used extensively for outside learning and play. At Frome Vale, our children are encouraged and guided to achieve their full potential within a safe and engaging environment.
