Salary: £140 £ 233 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Connex Education is recruiting passionate ECTs and experienced PE Teachers for opportunities starting in September 2026. We are supporting a number of inclusive secondary schools across Bristol, with roles available on both short-term and long-term bases.

• Deliver engaging and inspiring PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
• Teach a broad PE curriculum, including practical activities, fitness and team sports
• Adapt teaching and learning activities to support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
• Create a positive and purposeful learning environment that promotes teamwork, resilience and good behaviour
• Use effective coaching, demonstrations and differentiated activities to make PE lessons accessible and engaging
• Assess progress, provide constructive feedback and support pupil development in PE
• Build positive working relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues to promote learning and wellbeing

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred, although strong secondary teaching experience in PE will also be considered
• A passionate and engaging teaching style with confidence in delivering PE lessons
• Strong subject knowledge across the PE curriculum
• Commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion within the classroom
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply through Connex Education
