Teacher of Geography

TMS/UPS. Full-time, maternity cover. From 1 September 2026 (or 1 October 2026) until 31 August 2027 or earlier if the potholder returns to work sooner.

Gordano School, part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership, is a large and successful 11-18 comprehensive secondary school approximately eight miles outside Bristol. Our school includes a thriving Sixth Form of approximately 350 students that is strongly integrated into the life of the school and offers significant opportunities for sixth form teaching in over 30 courses. We are looking for an enthusiastic Teacher of Geography. You must be able to teach Geography to A-Level, and will preferably also be able to offer our other Humanities subjects to year 7, although prior experience of this is not essential. This role would suit either an ECT or more experienced teacher.

The postholder will engage in regulated activity.
