A Central Bristol secondary school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join their dedicated Maths department from September. You must have valid QTS in the UK through a PGCE or another valid course, such as Teach First. This is an exciting opportunity for both Early Career Teachers and experienced Maths teachers looking to work in a supportive, forward‑thinking school with high expectations and excellent student behaviour.
Protocol Education works in close partnership with the school to support recruitment for this role, including taking the Teacher through the vetting process. The position is offered on a temp‑to‑perm basis, with teachers becoming directly employed by the school after 20 working weeks.
The RoleAs a Teacher of Mathematics, you will:
- Teach engaging and challenging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 – KS5 is an option for the right candidate.
- Plan and deliver lessons that promote problem solving, confidence and progress.
- Differentiate effectively to support the needs of all learners.
- Use assessment to inform teaching and drive strong student outcomes.
- Build positive relationships and maintain high classroom expectations.
- Contribute positively to a collaborative and ambitious department.
- ECTs looking for strong mentoring and support.
