SEN Science Teacher

Prospero Teaching is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a specialist SEN primary school in the BS40 area. The school supports children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs, providing a nurturing environment where students can explore, learn, and grow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and differentiated Science lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH challenges.
• Support the social, emotional, and behavioural development of students, fostering curiosity and confidence in learning.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support staff to create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies to ensure all students achieve their potential.

Requirements:

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching Science.
• Experience working with SEN students, particularly those with SEMH needs, is highly desirable.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about inspiring young learners and making a tangible difference in their education.
