Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated PE Cover Supervisor/HLTA/Sports Coach.
This role is integral to supporting the school's commitment to providing a nurturing environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential. The successful candidate will lead PE sessions across the primary age range, ensuring engaging and well-managed lessons that promote physical activity and teamwork. This is a part-time position ideal for someone who is passionate about working with children and supporting their development through sports and physical education.
The role is available to start immediately and offers flexible working hours aligned with school schedules, fostering a positive work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and deliver PE lessons across the primary age range, ensuring activities are inclusive and suitable for different ability levels.
- Manage behaviour effectively during PE sessions, maintaining a safe and positive environment conducive to learning.
- Support classroom teachers by supervising pupils during lessons, breaks, and other school activities to uphold the school's ethos of respect and community.
- Assist in preparing sports equipment and setting up activities to facilitate smooth lesson delivery.
- Promote the school's values of kindness, resilience, and curiosity through positive interaction with pupils.
- Support the overall organisation of PE sessions, including maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Foster a supportive environment that encourages pupils to develop confidence, teamwork, and a love for physical activity.
