Teacher of IT; contribute to Computer Science FTE

Teacher of IT (with the opportunity to contribute to Computer Science)

0.6–1.0 FTE. Job share welcome, part‑time or full‑time. Start date 18 August 2026.

Salary: £33,465 to £51,714 per annum.

• Teach only post‑16 students
• No tutor group responsibilities
• No break or lunchtime duties
• Dedicated pastoral and progress tutor teams

• Teaching IT at Level 3 as the subject develops
• Contributing to Level 2 IT and A Level Computer Science over time
• Curriculum emphasis on preparing students for a digital world and the career pathways it can lead to
• Developing practical, real‑world digital skills
• Contribution to enrichment opportunities, including our Cyber EPQ
• Support students as digital qualifications evolve, including upcoming V Level pathways

• Aiming for Russell Group and Oxbridge universities
• Competitive Computer Science, Cyber Security and Digital degree programmes
• Degree apprenticeships and higher‑level technical careers
• Learning digital skills to support other career paths
