Overview

Lift Broadlands are delighted to have a number of Teaching Assistant vacancies due to internal promotions. We offer comprehensive career and wellbeing support, including fully funded training to earn Level 3 or Level 5 qualifications.

Your new school

Lift Broadlands is a small secondary school in Keynsham, fostering a nurturing environment for students aged 11‑16. It is a mixed, fully inclusive comprehensive school with strong OFSTED ‘Good’ status and excellent transport links to Bristol and surrounding areas. We aim to raise student aspirations, broaden horizons and promote a life‑long love of learning.

Your new role

The school is committed to ensuring all children achieve their very best academically and experience wide‑ranging opportunities such as camping trips, seaside visits, curriculum days and outdoor learning. As a Teaching Assistant you will work in partnership with teachers to support students in accessing the curriculum, participating in learning and experiencing a sense of achievement while promoting independence, self‑esteem and social inclusion.

What

you’ll need to succeed

You will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent, or be willing to work towards this qualification. You should understand a range of pupil learning needs, exhibit patience, calmness and empathy, and be able to engage and enthuse students to learn.
