Position: Work Experience and Employer Engagement Lead

Clifton College is looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Work Experience (WEX) and Employer Engagement Lead to support pupils in developing employability skills and preparation for the world of work through successful implementation of a Work Experience programme and employer encounters. As Work Experience and Employer Engagement Lead you will be responsible for delivering a programme of Work Experience to Clifton College Year 11 and 12 pupils.

As Work Experience and Employer Engagement Lead you can expect to manage the programme of WEX across the college as well as take an active role in developing a range of employer encounters as part of the careers education, information and guidance (CEIAG) programme. Within this role you will work with the Head of Careers to ensure all pupils secure and complete a WEX placement, that all placements are tracked on school management information systems and proactively support pupils/parents/employers throughout placements to achieve excellent outcomes for all stakeholders.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for working with young people as well as a keen interest in supporting pupils to increase their life opportunities through both employability skills and employer engagement. The person appointed should be highly attentive with the ability to adapt to the world of education and work/act in accordance to Clifton College values;
