Yournew role
The Attendance Officer will work within the Pastoral team to promote high attendance levels across the school. Responsibilities include tracking attendance data, supporting students with poor attendance through interventions, and liaising with students, parents, and external agencies to improve overall attendance.
What you’ll need to succeedYou should have proven experience entering high volumes of data accurately, analysing data to inform decision‑making, and communicating clearly with multiple stakeholders. Knowledge of attendance, welfare, and child protection legislation, and experience with education sector agencies, will be desirable. Experience working in an educational setting is a strong advantage.
