Science Technician

Position

We are looking for a Science Technician to join the Science faculty at Redland Green School to provide technical assistance and support activities to teaching staff, senior technical staff and the Curriculum Team Leader in undertaking teaching and pupil support in the delivery of the curriculum.

A typical day will involve supporting teachers and students with hands‑on learning. You will help set up, maintain and safely use equipment and materials, keep things organised, and make sure practical activities run smoothly. You will also give advice on working safely, help manage resources and stock, and lend a hand with longer‑term projects. The role encourages initiative; you will be trusted to get things done with minimal supervision while helping colleagues when needed and creating a safe, efficient and welcoming learning environment.
