Design and Technology Teacher

Affinity Partnerships are looking for a full-time Teacher of Design & Technology to work on a fixed-term basis at one of our Bristol secondary schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver outstanding Design & Technology lessons across Product Design, Food Technology and Textiles, and ideally Art, inspiring students to develop creativity, problem-solving skills and confidence through hands‑on learning.

You will play a key role in supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes, while promoting independence, resilience and a passion for design and artistic expression. Working within a supportive and forward‑thinking department, you will contribute to delivering an ambitious and inclusive curriculum aligned with high expectations for all learners.

This is a full‑time role with a provisional start date of September 2026. This is a permanent position in the school.

The successful applicant:

• Have a sound understanding of Secondary Education
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills
• Have confidence supporting the KS3 and KS4 curriculum
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties both in small groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
