Masterclass Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist school in Bristol to recruit an exceptional SEN Teacher. The school supports children and young people who require a tailored approach to learning and places a strong emphasis on developing confidence, independence, communication skills, and emotional wellbeing alongside academic progress.

The school caters for students with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. • Deliver engaging and accessible lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Adapt the curriculum to ensure all pupils can access meaningful learning opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with support staff and specialist professionals to implement individual learning plans.
• Build positive and trusting relationships that encourage pupil engagement and confidence.
• Track and celebrate progress, recognising achievements both inside and outside the classroom.
• Support the development of social, emotional, and life skills alongside academic learning.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND, either within mainstream or specialist education.
• A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• The ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient when faced with challenges.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to succeed.
