Masterclass Education is working in partnership with a highly regarded specialist school in Bristol to recruit an exceptional SEN Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team that is passionate about transforming the educational experiences of pupils with additional learning needs.
The school supports children and young people who require a tailored approach to learning and places a strong emphasis on developing confidence, independence, communication skills, and emotional wellbeing alongside academic progress.

This specialist setting provides a calm, structured, and supportive environment designed to help pupils overcome barriers to learning. The school caters for students with a range of complex needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and accessible lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Adapt the curriculum to ensure all pupils can access meaningful learning opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with support staff and specialist professionals to implement individual learning plans.
- Build positive and trusting relationships that encourage pupil engagement and confidence.
- Track and celebrate progress, recognising achievements both inside and outside the classroom.
- Support the development of social, emotional, and life skills alongside academic learning.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience working with pupils with SEND, either within mainstream or specialist education.
- A creative and flexible approach to teaching and learning.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to remain calm, patient, and resilient when faced with challenges.
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs to succeed.
