Position: SEN Support

SEN Support

We’re looking for a caring, patient, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school. This is one of those roles where no two days are the same, but every day matters.

You will support pupils with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). The role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.

What you’ll be doing
  • Providing 1:1 or small group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support pupils
  • Helping children stay fouced during lessons
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
  • Monitoring and recording pupil progress
What we’re looking for
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with SEN
  • A calm, patient and supportive approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience with SEN (school-based or otherwise)
  • A willingness to learn and adapt
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
