Outdoor Education Instructor

Ravenswood School is an all‑age Special School for children with complex needs and SLD;many of our pupils have autism, ADHD or attachment disorder. In June 2023,Ofsted confirmed that Ravenswood continues to be a good school, one thatis inclusive and has high aspirations for all its pupils.

Outdoor Education (OED) is an integral part of secondary education at Ravenswood School. It is intentionally inclusive and effective in engagingpupils in a wide range of activities. The aim of Outdoor Education is todevelop pupils’ emotional resilience, self-esteem, confidence and trust as wellas developing physical skills such as motor development, balance, strength andstamina. The Outdoor Education Instructor will be responsible for deliveringsafe, high quality outdoor learning with a focus on meeting individualoutcomes.
