Overview
We are looking for a motivated and impactful teacher of Design Technology to join our ambitious Design Technology team at Trinity Academy from September 2026 or January 2027. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a department progressing from excellent to world class.
Key responsibilities- Deliver high quality teaching and learning in Design Technology, fostering creativity and technical skills.
- Model curriculum design and maintain high standards of assessment.
- Collaborate with colleagues in weekly department co‑planning and share best practice.
- Support students’ progress and achieve outcomes above national averages.
- Contribute to the school's calm and orderly learning environment and behaviour expectations.
- QTS required.
- Strong teaching skills, ideally first‑rate experience.
- Relentless drive for high standards and curriculum modelling experience.
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills.
- Experience with safeguarding and reporting procedures.
- Trinity is a ‘Good’ school with ‘Outstanding’ leadership and management.
- Outstanding personal development (Ofsted Jan 2024).
- Excellent student progress (P8 0.53) with hardworking staff and students.
- Weekly coaching, department co‑planning and fully resourced schemes of work.
