Are you a passionate and dedicated education professional looking to make a real difference in children's learning and development? We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our supportive and inclusive school community.
** About the Role
** As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Working closely with teachers and school leaders, you will deliver high-quality learning activities, provide targeted interventions, and occasionally lead whole-class learning in the absence of a teacher.
** Key Responsibilities*
* • Support the planning, delivery and assessment of learning activities.
• Lead whole classes when required, ensuring continuity of learning.
• Deliver targeted interventions to individuals and small groups.
• Support pupils with a range of educational and emotional needs.
• Contribute to pupil progress and attainment through effective teaching support.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage an inclusive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents and external agencies where appropriate.
** About You
** The successful candidate will:
• Hold HLTA status or have equivalent experience.
• Have a strong understanding of the primary/secondary curriculum.
• Be confident leading learning activities and managing groups of pupils independently.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Be an adaptable, enthusiastic and proactive member of the team.
