Lift Broadlands is a small secondary school in Keynsham, fostering a nurturing environment for students aged 11‑16. The school is led by Principal Laura Stone, who is passionate about ensuring every student receives an excellent education. Located near Bath and North East Somerset, the school benefits from excellent transport links to Bristol and surrounding areas. It is a mixed, fully inclusive comprehensive school and has an OFSTED rating of ‘Good’.

The Exams Officer is responsible for managing, coordinating and administering the public exams process. This includes liaising with examination boards, collaborating with colleagues to plan timetables and special arrangements, managing public examination results, and overseeing the provision of internal examinations. The role also assists staff with preparation, seating plans, venue coordination and invigilation.
What you’ll need to succeedApplicants should be highly organised and able to lead a team. Prior examination experience in an educational setting is desirable but not essential; transferable skills are acceptable. Experience in timetabling and a good understanding of special examination requirements for students with SEND are advantageous. Candidates must be able to plan, prioritise workload, manage conflicting demands and coordinate multiple stakeholders in a high‑pressure environment.
