Positive Behaviour Mentor

Are you someone that can offer encouragement, positivity and consistency?

We’re on the lookout for a proactive and caring Behaviour Support Mentor to help pupils with everyday learning and tasks. You could be the person to build strong, trusted relationships with young people who need a little extra support to engage and thrive in a school environment.

What we’re looking for
  • Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour
  • A calm, patient and resilient approach
  • Someone who genuinely wants to make a difference
What you’ll be doing
  • Working 1:1 with pupils, supporting behavioural and emotional needs
  • Working alongside teachers and staff to implement behaviour strategies
  • Leading small group activities
  • Helping pupils engage with learning
  • Support pupils to feel safe and understood

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
