Digi Tech Studio School is seeking a passionate and proactive Pastoral Support Officer to join our dedicated team.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference to the lives of young people by supporting their wellbeing, personal development and academic success. Working collaboratively with students, families, colleagues and external agencies, you will provide high-quality pastoral support, including mentoring, behaviour and attendance interventions, and safeguarding guidance to help students overcome barriers to learning.
As the main pastoral contact for a designated year group, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive, inclusive and aspirational environment where every student feels safe, supported and valued. Through your compassion, resilience and proactive approach, you will help students build confidence, develop positive relationships and reach their full potential.

- A clear, sensitive and professional communicator in both written and verbal contexts.
- Committed to equality, diversity, safeguarding and the wellbeing of all students.
- Willing to work flexibly, including attending meetings, interventions and activities beyond the school day where required.
- Successful experience of working in a school or similar setting with responsibility for student welfare and raising achievement.
- Experience of liaising with external agencies and contributing to meetings that support student outcomes.
- A good understanding of safeguarding within an educational setting and the ability to respond appropriately to concerns.
- Knowledge of inclusion, raising achievement and current issues in student support.
- The ability to manage information accurately and securely using paper‑based and electronic systems, including management information systems.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle, or willingness to meet the travel requirements of the role.
- A MIDAS qualification, or willingness to undertake this qualification.

About Digitech AcademyDigitech delivers a specialised curriculum for 14 to 19-year-olds, where we offer progression into the creative digital and high‑tech sectors. We are located in Warmley, on the outskirts of Bristol and South Gloucestershire. Studio schools are small by design, and we only take 90 students into each year group.
This allows us to meet the needs of students in a personalised way.
