Eyfs Teaching Assistant

EYFS Teaching Assistant | BS9 | Full Time | September Start

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am to 3:30pm
• Term time only

• Supporting children across the EYFS setting
• Helping children engage with classroom activities and learning through play
• Supporting with transitions, routines and daily tasks
• Building confidence and encouraging independence
• Assisting with social skills, communication and emotional development
• Working closely with the class teacher, EYFS team and SENCo
• Creating a calm, nurturing and supportive learning environment
• Helping to set up and tidy away learning activities
• Monitoring progress and providing feedback to the class teacher

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years (ideal but not essential)
• Experience working with young children (paid or voluntary)
• A genuine passion for supporting children in their early years
• A patient, calm and nurturing approach
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Reliability and professionalism
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
