SEN Teaching Assistant, September Start

We're looking for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive school this September
. If you're passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive, and you know that every small breakthrough is worth celebrating, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers and SEN professionals, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and communication needs. You'll play a key role in helping children build confidence, develop independence and enjoy learning in a safe, nurturing environment.

What you'll be doing:
  • Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • Building positive, trusting relationships that help pupils feel safe and supported
  • Working closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored learning strategies
  • Encouraging pupils' social, emotional and academic development
  • Helping create an inclusive classroom where every child can succeed
What we're looking for:
  • At least 2 years' experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
  • A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
