Working withus as a Cover Superisor / Unqualified Supply Teacher (either part time around studies / other work, or full-time), gives you valuable classroom and life experience, and requires no teaching qualifications - just the right character and confidence to work with young people.

You can begin as a Teaching Assistant and work your way up to Cover Supervisor / Unqualified Teaching roles should you want to.

As an Unqualified Supply Teacher, you’ll step in when a teacher is absent. You’re not expected to teach new content. Your role is to lead, guide and manage the classroom. While you will mainly be placed in English lessons, you may also be asked to cover other subjects. This is completely normal - this is a classroom management role, not a subject teaching role, so specialist subject knowledge is not required.

  Experience in tutoring, mentoring, writing, drama or similar is a bonus

• References covering the past 2 years (all childcare references from the past 10 years if applicable)

You must have:

• The right to work in the UK
• An Overseas Police Check (for any country lived in for 3+ months in the last 5 years)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
