Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Secondary SEN Teacher to join our team in BS4. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with a range of SEN, including autism spectrum disorders, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties. You will be responsible for creating and implementing individualized education plans , adapting the curriculum, and providing a supportive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans and learning activities for SEN students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with other teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and IEPs.
- Provide support and guidance to students in their personal and social development.
- Promote an inclusive classroom culture that respects and values diversity.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience working with secondary-aged students with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of SEN and relevant educational legislation.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with staff, students, and parents.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
