Have you worked in sports coaching, mentoring, youth work or another role where you've supported and motivated young people?
Protocol Education is working closely with welcoming primary schools across South Bristol who are looking for confident, energetic and positive individuals to bring their transferable skills into the classroom.
This isn't a coaching role. Instead, it's an opportunity to use the skills you've developed through working with children and young people, such as communication, relationship building, behaviour management, resilience and motivation, to support pupils in their education.
Schools highly value people who can build trust quickly, encourage confidence, promote teamwork and help children stay engaged. If you've helped young people overcome challenges, develop new skills or achieve personal goals, you could have exactly the qualities schools are looking for.
You'll work alongside teachers and support staff, helping pupils to stay focused, participate in learning and build the confidence they need to succeed both academically and socially.

What You'll Be Doing Supporting pupils within KS2 classrooms
Working with small groups and individual children
Encouraging engagement, participation and positive behaviour
Helping children develop confidence and independence
Supporting learning alongside the class teacher
Acting as a positive role model throughout the school day Assisting children who may benefit from additional encouragement or support

This Role Could Be Perfect If You Have experience working with children or young people in any capacity
