We are looking for enthusiastic, adaptable and resilient Teaching Assistants to support pupils across a range of specialist and mainstream educational settings. Whether you are seeking full-time, part-time or flexible work around your existing commitments, we would love to hear from you.

As an SEN & SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to help them engage with learning, develop positive relationships and achieve their full potential. • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
• Assisting students with a variety of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and learning difficulties
• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Promoting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
• Supporting classroom teachers to create an inclusive learning environment
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development
• Following safeguarding and behaviour management procedures at all times

• Experience working with children, young people or vulnerable adults is desirable
• A patient, caring and resilient approach
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations
• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
• Access to a vehicle and a valid driving licence is essential
• Team Teach or behaviour management training is advantageous but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
