Puddleducks is a happy, busy pre-school in which children are supported to become independent learners within a child-centred environment. Children follow their own interests and are offered opportunities to be creative, experiment and explore both inside and out. They become independent in their learning and self-care and experience a wide range of opportunities during their time with us.

We require a calm, energetic and friendly practitioner who is reliable and committed to the learning and development of our children. You will be able to build positive relationships with children and parents, have excellent verbal communication skills and a passion for motivating children to learn. You will support children to meet their targets and achieve their full potential through scaffolding their learning and providing open-ended learning opportunities.

Experience in Early Years, including supporting children with communication difficulties is essential, as is a minimum of Level 2 qualification. Valid first-aid certificate and safeguarding training are required for the role; however, this training can be provided.

  • A supportive and encouraging Leadership Team and Governing Body
