Lead Driller

Job Description

Arcadis is looking for an Experienced Lead Driller to be based at our Gloucester facility. The position will involve working throughout the UK across a variety of sites and sectors, including manufacturing, petrochemical, and construction environments.

The successful candidate will work independently, demonstrating leadership and taking a key role in developing Assistant Drillers, and ensuring Health and Safety stewardship.

• Experience acting in the role of Lead Driller – preferably holding an NVQ Level 2 in Land Drilling; BDA audit would also be beneficial.
• Experience logging to BS5930 and knowledge of Eurocode 7 would be beneficial.
• Full, clean Category B driving licence required; entitlement for C1+E and/or C preferable.
• Valid CSCS Card.
• Beneficial:
  Personal Track Safety (PTS) accreditation or an SPA/PIA training card.

The role requires frequent traveling throughout the week; accommodation is provided by the company and a daily subsistence allowance is paid. Daily commuting to Gloucester may be required; the successful candidate should reside within a reasonable commute from the depot.
