Test Development Engineer - Electronic Hardware

Join Graphcore as a Test Development Engineer. Your responsibility will be to design and maintain test systems for our pre‑production hardware, collaborating with hardware and software teams.

We are looking for a high‑quality Test Development Engineer to complement our existing team. You will work closely with hardware and software developers to develop and maintain test systems in support of pre‑production test solutions. You will report to the Hardware Test Team Lead and collaborate with third‑party support engineers.

• Define test methods and specify suitable test equipment for high‑speed serial links and power supplies.
• Debug and characterize high‑speed SERDES (PCIe Gen 6, 112/224 Gb PAM4 Ethernet) and slower protocols (JTAG, I2C, I3C).
• Develop graphical user interfaces for controlling products in a test environment.
• Automate tests using Python or LabVIEW and maintain characterization systems.
• Transfer pre‑production knowledge to the production test team and analyze test coverage.

• Experience with Ethernet and/or PCIe.
• Project planning and test system automation for complex electronic systems.
• Fluency with Python and LabVIEW scripting.
• Self‑starter with strong written and oral communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.

• Knowledge of LPDDR, HBM interfaces and high‑current power supplies.
• Linux and bash scripting experience.
• Prior server verification or PCBA production test experience.
• Data analysis skills.
