Cost Manager – Energy Infrastructure – Bristol, England

Turner & Townsend is a global professional services company dedicated to delivering significant outcomes across real‑estate, infrastructure, energy and natural resources. We seek an experienced Cost Manager to support our major programmes in the Energy, Power and Infrastructure sectors.

As a Cost Manager you will work with high‑profile clients, develop consultancy skills, and diversify sector experience. We support hybrid working and consider part‑time applications.

• Operate at Cost Management level with suitable qualification and experience.
• Administer contracts in line with project objectives, policies and best practice.
• Provide accurate cost monitoring, forecasting and reporting to completion, ensuring budget compliance.
• Proactively monitor and manage cost variance, contract cash flow and ensure timely application submissions.
• Collaborate with client and contractor teams to deliver project objectives, KPIs and value engineering outcomes.
• Manage contract change effectively to maintain governance and foster best practice.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy and budget planning.
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

• Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.
• Professional body membership or equivalent pursuit (e.g., cost or contract management).
• Knowledge of contract management (NEC3, Option C or NEC4 preferred).
• Experience of major programmes and projects in infrastructure or energy (including rail, air, marine, utilities, highways, nuclear, oil & gas, wind or carbon capture).
