Materials Engineer

Capgemini Engineering is looking to recruit Materials Engineers with knowledge of non‑conformance within aerospace engineering.

• Provide technical and expert advice across Defence Aerospace programmes with a particular focus on design and supply chain production support.
• Support design of test programmes and analysis of test programme data.
• Investigate engineering development, production manufacturing and in‑service issues using a structured analytical approach and presenting findings clearly and authoritatively.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.

• A qualification in Materials Science or Engineering or significant relevant experience. Applications from individuals with metallic and non‑metallic backgrounds are welcomed.
• Good analytical skills.
• Knowledge of the gas turbine and its components is desirable.
• Methodical and logical approach to tasks, comfortable with working to deadlines.
