Lead Software Design Engineer - Offshore Wind UK

Lead Programmer for software tools for Leading Renewable Engineering Company

NB: please note it is essential to have offshore wind, software coding & structural engineering experience. (Matlab &/ Python)

• Lead programmer for new software tool for offshore wind.
• You will be leading development of offshore wind turbine foundations concept design tool.
• You will enjoy the challenge of creating code, and have experience with codes such as Matlab, Python or similar.
• Foundations & steel design for offshore wind turbines - stress, FE, loads modelling and complete design of large offshore foundations e.g. Jackets, Monopiles and steel towers.
• Supported by experienced offshore structural engineers, who will help shape the direction of the development with you and will be able to provide specific offshore wind guidance if required.

• Mechanical / Structural / Civil Engineering degree
• Offshore Wind engineering experience
• Experienced programmer using Matlab &/ Python
• Structural engineering.

• DNV’s SESAM-GENIE.
• Dynamics of offshore wind turbine foundation (Jackets / Monopiles/ Floating)
• Steel Structures e.g. Steel towers.
• Geotechnical
