Your role- As part of our Nuclear New Build business, our Project Delivery Capability team specialises in taking on complex engineering projects and opportunities that exist across the board, from technical leadership to project management. With existing relationships with the major stakeholders in the nuclear sector, we offer a hugely stimulating variety of work, within a team that is rapidly developing to support the delivery of New Nuclear Build.
Our projects are on a global scale – UK, Europe, Middle East – across a range of projects in both the Large Civil Nuclear market and the emerging New Nuclear Technologies market. - Working as a Project Manager, you will be working across our Nuclear New Build business, either leading the delivery of Atkins
Réalis engineering projects or embedded into our clients’ programmes. We are recruiting predominately in the Bristol and Epsom locations where you will join a team with a diverse mix of people from all around the world. In Bristol you’ll mainly support the Hinkley Point C project, the Small Modular Reactor programme and the UK EPR design centre; in Epsom you’ll support the Sizewell C project and UKAEA. - There has never been a more exciting time to join the industry as we engineer a cleaner, zero‑carbon future for our planet.
- Taking the lead for delivery at work package level.
- Building on an ongoing track record of delivery against defined margin, schedule and quality requirements.
- Reviewing, measuring and adhering to procedures and standards set externally or internally.
- Excellent communication skills and motivated by working within a dynamic and diverse project delivery environment.
- Adamant about new challenges and keen to learn, whilst supporting others within our multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Confident from experience of delivering projects to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.
- Experienced in stakeholder management.
- Familiar with a range of PM tools such as MS Project, Online Stage Gates, Enterprise Advantage, iGate, JDE.
