This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-moving, innovation-driven engineering organisation that is expanding its research and development capabilities. The business is deeply committed to continuous improvement - of its technology, its processes, and its people - and is now looking for an experienced Hardware/Firmware Engineer to help drive the next generation of their product line.

In this role, you ll work at the forefront of hardware and embedded development, contributing directly to a busy new-product pipeline and playing a key role in bringing advanced, high-performance devices to market. It s an ideal position for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine, test and optimise hardware and firmware systems.

• Designing and building hardware
• PCB layout
• Planning, developing and implementing firmware
• Maintaining stable firmware
• Testing hardware / firmware releases
• Writing and maintaining documentation
• Recommending new hardware designs

• Familiarity with a wide range of hardware devices
• Strong understanding of embedded software development
• Experience in developing and debugging firmware
• Proficiency in programming languages - C, C++, C#
