This role supports a major UK nuclear construction programme and is based around delivery of complex reinforced concrete design and detailing. You will work closely with your future team of civil engineers, designers, and technical authorities across multiple buildings. The role focuses on design compliance, coordination, and technical assurance across the full detailing lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing Detailed Method Statements for technical consistency
  • Participating in resolution of complex reinforcement detailing challenges
  • Reviewing concrete outlines, pour models, and grid-line models
  • Responding to and tracking technical queries throughout the detailing phase
  • Coordinating and surveilling technical submissions and deliverables

Additional duties include supporting tender evaluations, preparing pre-job briefs, producing building-specific handover documentation, and ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, cost, and technical baseline.

Qualifications

Nuclear experience is welcomed but not essential. If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.

We recognise that no candidate will meet every requirement. If you feel you meet around 80% of the criteria and are motivated to develop further, we would strongly encourage you to apply.
