RGB Recruitment are working with a well‑established regional civil engineering contractor who are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team across infrastructure projects in the South West.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a secure and growing business with a strong pipeline of civil engineering works and long‑term regional projects.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial responsibility for projects from pre‑construction through to final account.

• Full commercial management of civil engineering projects
• Cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Subcontract procurement and account management
• NEC contract administration (essential)
• Managing variations, compensation events, and change control
• Working closely with operational teams to drive project performance
• Mentoring junior commercial staff

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering or infrastructure
• Strong NEC contract knowledge
• Experience with subcontract procurement and commercial reporting
• Ability to manage multiple packages and stakeholders
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Degree qualified or equivalent (desirable)

• £60,000 - £72,000 basic salary
