The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to join a forward-thinking building services consultancy that specialises in sustainable and technically challenging projects.

Recently relocating into a fresh new office space, the consultancy continues to grow its reputation for delivering innovative mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across commercial, heritage, arts, education, and residential developments.

You will play a key role in project delivery while working closely with senior engineers, architects, and clients.

Responsibilities

Deliver mechanical designs for building services projects.
Produce calculations, specifications, and technical reports.
Coordinate with architects and external consultants.
Attend client and design meetings.
Support sustainable and low-energy building design strategies.
Undertake site inspections and surveys.
Mentor junior engineers where appropriate.

Requirements

Degree qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
Previous consultancy experience within building services.
Understanding of UK building regulations and standards.
Experience using industry design software.
Strong communication and project coordination skills.
Passion for sustainable engineering solutions.
