HVAC Site Engineer

Location: Bristol, UK

Play a key role in delivering one of the UK's most significant nuclear infrastructure programmes, helping to drive engineering excellence from design through to installation and commissioning.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC professional to bridge the gap between engineering and site delivery. Working within a highly collaborative environment, you will influence critical project decisions, resolve technical challenges, and contribute to the successful delivery of complex nuclear facilities while developing your career within a growing and future-focused sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the HVAC interface between engineering teams and site delivery leads.
  • Support HVAC installation activities through delivery, installation, testing and commissioning.
  • Facilitate knowledge sharing between design, manufacturing and construction teams.
  • Review Field Change Requests (FCRs) and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Assess issue characterisation, root causes and impacted scope.
  • Evaluate remediation options and recommend preferred solutions.
  • Advise on appropriate delegation levels for FCR/NCR resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with construction teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor FCR/NCR trends and identify recurring issues.
  • Proactively recommend mitigations to reduce future project risks.
Qualifications & Requirements

Strong HVAC engineering experience within complex regulated environments.

  • Experience supporting installation, construction or commissioning activities.
  • Knowledge of change control and non-conformance processes.
  • Ability to review and assess technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • Understanding of quality, safety and compliance requirements.

    Ability to work across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Nuclear industry experience desirable.
