I'm currently working with a highly regarded transport consultancy that is investing significantly in the growth of its Bristol office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal Transport Planner to join a business with an outstanding reputation in the development and infrastructure sectors, while playing a key role in the continued expansion of its South West presence.
The consultancy works on a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use, logistics, education and major infrastructure developments, partnering with leading developers, architects and public sector organisations throughout the UK and internationally.
The Opportunity
Joining a growing office, you'll have the chance to make a genuine impact on both project delivery and the future direction of the team. You'll lead transport planning projects, manage client relationships and contribute to business growth, while working alongside a highly experienced national team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Leading the preparation of Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans
Managing projects through the planning process from inception to completion
Providing strategic transport planning advice to clients and project teams
Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships
Supporting business development activities and identifying new opportunities
Mentoring and developing junior members of the team
Contributing to the continued growth of the Bristol office
About You
I'm keen to speak with candidates who have:
Experience with in a transport planning consultancy environment
A strong understanding of the UK planning system and development process
Excellent report-writing and communication skills
Experience managing projects and client relationships
A commercial mindset and an interest in helping grow a successful regional office
