Engineering Manager (Electrical Manufacturing)

Cannock Salary: £55,000 - £60,000  Benefits

8:00 17:15 (Mon Thu), 8:00 12:00 (Fri) About the Role Bolt Technical are supporting a growing UK-based electrical manufacturing business that designs and builds industrial electrical systems and control solutions used across a wide range of manufacturing and production environments, supporting customers in both light and heavy engineering sectors. They are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a skilled engineering team, improve processes, and drive performance across design and manufacturing operations.

This is a hands-on leadership role with strong influence over engineering strategy, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team Oversee design of electrical control systems and automation equipment Ensure compliance with relevant engineering and safety standards Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Manage engineering change control (ECN/ECO) and technical documentation Support production through BOM creation and labour estimating Deliver engineering projects on time, cost, and quality targets Work closely with operations, procurement, and commercial teams What We're Looking For Engineering leadership experience in electrical manufacturing Strong understanding of control panels, electrical systems, or automation
