LED Electrical Design Engineer - pa

Born out of extensive experience in the lighting industry, our client is a highly successful, rapidly growing and evolving PE‑backed SME now operating in the energy‑saving and renewables sector.

As the LED lighting services division continues to grow, we are seeking an LED Electrical Design Engineer with a strong focus on electrical installation compliance, BS 7671, emergency lighting standards and technical evaluation of installation works. The role will focus on ensuring LED installation works are technically robust, compliant, safe, and correctly engineered (this is not a creative lighting design role, for the avoidance of doubt!).

Working closely with Operational Leadership, Project Managers, Installation Managers and clients you will ensure installations meet required electrical standards and are fully verified before handover.

• Electrical Design and Compliance
• Technical Assurance & Installation Quality
• Testing, Verification & Commissioning
• Technical Documentation

• 3‑5 years minimum directly relevant experience
• Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering qualification (degree or HND)
• BS 7671 qualification or strong working knowledge
• LED experience is desirable but not essential
