Our Nuclear business continues to grow, supported by strong momentum across the UK's nuclear renaissance. As part of this growth, our Mechanical and Electrical Capability is expanding, and we are looking for Senior Mechanical Engineers to join us across design, project, and site‑based roles. Your role

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Apply your technical expertise to contribute meaningfully to innovative projects across the nuclear industry
  • Influence outcomes by delivering thoughtful, high‑quality engineering solutions
  • Bring your experience or awareness of engineering practices within safety‑regulated environments into practical application
  • Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to support successful project delivery
  • Contribute to a range of specialisms, including:
    • Mechanical handling
    • Large‑scale diesel equipment
    • Turbine generators and associated balance‑of‑plant systems
    • Mechanical and electrical layouts
    • Installation and engineering delivery
  • Grow your skills and confidence while working in a dynamic and purpose‑driven environment
About you

We are looking for individuals who are motivated, capable, and eager to make a meaningful contribution. You may identify with the following:

  • Chartered or Incorporated Member of a recognised professional institution
  • Experience, or a strong awareness, of engineering practices within safety‑regulated industries
  • Ability to apply technical expertise to influence outcomes and deliver effective solutions
  • Exposure to, or interest in, areas such as mechanical handling, diesel equipment, layouts, or installation
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach, with the confidence to contribute ideas and work effectively with others
  • A proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in continuous learning, development, and making a positive impact

Security clearance

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance.
