What You Will Be Doing
As a Transport Planner, you will be:
· Preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans for a range of development projects.
· Analysing traffic data and assisting with junction capacity assessments.
· Supporting planning applications by providing technical transport advice.
· Working closely with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary teams.
· Assisting with the delivery of projects from inception through to completion.
· Preparing high-quality reports and presentations.
· Contributing to meetings and helping to maintain strong client relationships.
· Supporting senior colleagues on larger and more complex schemes.
This Transport Planner role offers the opportunity to develop your technical capabilities while gaining experience across a varied and exciting workload.
Skills and Experience Required
To be considered for this Transport Planner position, you should have:
· Experience with in transport planning, ideally with exposure to development planning projects.
· Knowledge of the UK planning process and relevant transport guidance.
· Experience preparing Transport Assessments, Transport Statements and Travel Plans.
· Familiarity with traffic analysis and junction modelling software would be advantageous.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Good organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
· A proactive approach and willingness to continue developing professionally.
· Membership of a relevant professional institution or a desire to work towards professional accreditation would be beneficial.

·£35,000 - £42,000 dependent on experience.
