OpportunityWe are looking for a Small Works Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of small operational projects across the Energy Management division, acting as a key link between the Energy Analysis, Systems and Delivery teams. The role coordinates, tracks and supports projects from identification through to completion, ensuring operational actions, remedial works, investigations and system improvements are delivered efficiently and communicated effectively to stakeholders.

- Understanding of the importance of RAMS, permits and safe systems of work within operational delivery

- Eligibility to work in the UK
You will coordinate and support the delivery of small operational projects from identification through to completion, ensuring works are planned, scheduled and delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate project records, monitoring progress and costs, supporting quotations and remedial works, coordinating engineers, subcontractors and stakeholders, and keeping customers and internal teams informed throughout the project lifecycle.
You will also oversee documentation, access arrangements, permits and safety requirements, and contribute to a strong Health & Safety culture across all activities.
In addition, you will support fault finding, diagnostics and operational investigations across metering and energy systems. Working closely with Systems Engineering and Energy Analysis teams, you will identify issues, develop solutions, troubleshoot, analyse data and implement remedial actions, while developing your technical knowledge of energy infrastructure and operational delivery processes. You will also contribute to improving systems, processes and ways of working to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement across the division.
