Job Title: Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer

Salary/Benefits: £35, PA

Location: Bristol

Hours: Up to 40 hours per week (Monday-Friday 9:00-5:30, hybrid working available)

• Coordinate and communicate on complex engineering problems between project stakeholders.
• Provide technical review and respond to site queries and requested changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment to support contractor activities on site.
• Conduct and review analysis of structures carried out in FEM packages (experience in using Ansys beneficial).
• Provide technical oversight of reinforcement detailers and review detailing models and drawings.
• Provide expert oversight and technical direction to teams completing the design of reinforced concrete structures.
• Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support the business development team during the tendering process for future project stream.

• Bachelor's or master's in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered with the ICE, IStructE, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the use of Ansys or equivalent structural FEM software.
• Experience in reinforced concrete calculation and design.
• Working familiarity with relevant technical Codes of Practice and Industry Standards (Eurocodes, British Standard, and applicable code).
