The Role

We are looking for an Apprentice Technician to join our team in Bristol. Your duties will include producing drawing information and 3D models using AutoCAD and REVIT, liaising with construction professionals, delivering project drawings within timelines, managing electronic filing structures for CAD drawings and REVIT models, and adhering to company BIM and CAD standards.

Responsibilities
  • Produce drawing information and 3D models on AutoCAD and REVIT platforms.
  • Liaise with other construction professionals to develop drawing information.
  • Deliver a variety of drawing information within project timescales, including GA’s, sections, RC detailing, drainage and structures.
  • Manage and coordinate electronic filing structures for CAD drawings and REVIT models.
  • Work within company BIM protocols and standards.
  • Adhere to company CAD standards.
Training, Support & Qualifications

Upon completion of the Level 3 or Level 4 Apprenticeship you will receive:

  • A portfolio of competence‑based evidence to meet the Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours criteria outlined in the relevant Apprenticeship Standard.
  • Level 3 Civil Engineering Technician or Level 4 Senior Civil Engineering Technician certification, depending on the apprenticeship level.
  • End Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Level 2 Functional Skills in Maths and English, if required.

After completing your apprenticeship you may progress to further training, such as an HNC, HND, or other professional qualifications.
