Ship Design 3D Modeller​/Draughtsperson

Navantia UK is growing, and we are looking for talented 3D Modellers / Draughtspersons to join our ship design team in Bristol. You will be hands-on with cutting-edge naval projects, turning complex ideas into high-quality digital designs that shape real-world ships. As part of the globally recognised Navantia Group, you will work at the forefront of maritime innovation using advanced 3D CAD and PLM tools, contributing to structural design, outfit/arrangements, and ship systems integration.

• Create high-quality 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX
• Produce technical outputs such as arrangements, P&IDs and BOMs
• Manage design data within Teamcenter PLM
• Collaborate across disciplines to resolve interfaces and integration challenges
• Support design reviews and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Help improve CAD standards, libraries, and digital workflows
• Demonstrate strong 3D modelling and draughting capability
• Show experience with Siemens NX (or similar) and PLM systems
• Understand ship design principles
• Maintain excellent attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset
• Eligibility for BPSS (SC clearance required for some roles)

• Background in shipbuilding or naval vessels
• Experience in structures, outfit/arrangements, or systems integration
• Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines
