Your missions
What you’ll be doing ...
· Provide technical leadership/ expertise within NS&E, guidance and mentorship to junior staff.
· Organise and manage periodic meetings for their scope of responsibility, prepare technical work plans for new starters, ensure follow-up of scope-related activities.
· Provide technical review of deliverables produced in their scope of expertise, with the option to approve some of them if a suitably qualified and experienced person (SQEP) was able to undertake the review.
· Can be Author of deliverables in exceptional cases.
· Participate, for their technical scope, to the Knowledge Management (KM) within the NS&E Discipline and, where necessary, to the overall EPR-E KM Programme of the Discipline.
· Interface, in support of the NS&E DM and Group Lead, with the Project Client Teams as and when required for either technical discussions or to present feedback, emergent issues and success.
· Provide the NS&E GL with information on any foreseen risks.
· Provide support, to the NS&E Group Lead, through the provision of technical information required for the definition of Task Orders (TOs) activities and the establishment of Workforce Plannings (WFPs).
· Provides support to the NS&E Group Lead when setting up the planning of activities within the Group: required competencies, budget, milestones, etc...
· Provides support the NS&E Group Lead and Discipline Manager to promote safety and quality culture within the Group.
· Support the technical delivery of scope-related activities on a day-to-day basis, based on Project requirements and priorities with respect to safety, quality, maturity, cost and schedule.
· Provide support to NSE Group Lead when implementing NS&E’s Safety Action Plan generated by the yearly NS&E Discipline Team Project.
· Liaise with relevant Edvance/SNE Teams and engage on technical topics of common interest.
· Participate to Edvance-wide discipline meetings relating to their specific scope.
Scope-Specific Activities (Hazards Studies Scope):
In addition to the above generic activities, you are expected to perform, for the Hazards scope, the following activities:
· Ensure all hazards have been adequately mitigated against in the design of the NI buildings based on the methodologies and referential approved by RD and the Clients (HPC & SZC Projects). This includes: – Assessing the risks of the design replication of HPC hazards studies for SZC.
– Updating suitably identified HPC hazards methodologies/ studies for adoption by SZC.
– Providing general hazards guidance and advice on (post-delivery) issues to each of the EPR-E Building Teams. – Putting in place mitigation measures to take into account the Internal Flooding hazard requirements in the layout of the buildings in the scope of EPR-E and within the system design etc## You areYour background may include some of the following (not exhaustive):
